Expertise: Behavioral
and systems neuroscience, electrophysiology, multi-electrode
recording, computational modeling
The lab is interested in the functional organization of
sensory cerebral cortex, with an emphasis on primary visual
cortex.
Specific research projects:
-- The organization of spatio-temporal filters in cat primary
visual cortex.
-- The re-organization of spatial frequency maps as a result
of amblyopia
-- The relationship between olfactory bulb activity and
the perception of odor mixtures
-- Functional cortical imaping using novel techniques
