Expertise:
Behavioral and systems neuroscience, electrophysiology, multi-electrode recording, computational modeling

The lab is interested in the functional organization of sensory cerebral cortex, with an emphasis on primary visual cortex.

Specific research projects:
-- The organization of spatio-temporal filters in cat primary visual cortex.

-- The re-organization of spatial frequency maps as a result of amblyopia

-- The relationship between olfactory bulb activity and the perception of odor mixtures

-- Functional cortical imaping using novel techniques
