Interests:
I am interested in all aspects of the biology and treatment
of impulsive aggression. This includes clinical phenomenology
and nosology, family and twin studies, clinical neurochemistry
and neuroendocriniology, pharmacologic and behavioral treatment
trials, social and emotional information processing and neuroimaging.
Most work has been performed in patients with personality
disorders. More recent work has been performed in patients
with Intermittent Explosive Disorder (the DSM diagnosis that
is the categorical expression of problematic impulsive aggression).
